Titanium: feniom uses 2 types of titanium. Grade 2 is pure titanium. for jewellery in plain titanium we often use Grade 5. This type of titanium has a slightly lighter colour because of its alloy with aluminium and vanadium. Because of its greater hardness this type of titanium has a unique durability for long lasting finishes. possible finishes are: sandblast, matt brush, cross scratch, fluid and polish.
Titanium and 18 carat gold: this collection renews the traditional wedding or partner ring by intertwining two rings made of different materials: the first ring is made of 100% pure titanium, the second from 18 carat gold. this special design represents a tangible strengthening of the symbolism of the wedding band and partner ring.
24 carat and titanium: in this collection, feniom designers have combined 100% pure titanium with 24 carat gold. A golden wire is hammered into the grooves of the titanium, at least 1mm deep. Each one of these items is a reflection of contemporary design. nearly all the models in this collection are also available in a variation combining titanium with fine silver.
Fine silver and titanium: in this collection, feniom designers have combined 100% pure titanium with fine silver. A wire of pure silver is hammered into the grooves of the titanium. each one of these items is a reflection of contemporary design. nearly all the models in this collection are also available in a variation combining titanium with 24 carat gold.
Anodising is an electro-chemical process which physically alters the structural surface of titanium to produce a tough oxide layer. The colour changes due to the refraction of light available. Feniom uses this technique to subtly enhance, create mood and atmosphere to our chosen designs.
